Last week, we had the honor of attending the latest meeting of the All_Party_Parliamentary_Group (APPG) for Critical_Minerals at the Houses of Parliament , titled
“Making Critical Minerals Work for the UK.”
The session brought together parliamentarians and industry experts for an engaging roundtable chaired by Noah Law MP, with support from Baroness Lindsay Northover and Perran Moon MP.
Discussions focused on how the UK can unlock the full potential of its critical minerals sector from securing resilient supply chains and fostering innovation to building stronger domestic industrial capabilities.
As we await the release of the updated UK_Critical_Minerals_Strategy, it’s clear that these dialogue will play a key role in shaping the country’s industrialisation and manufacturing strategy, ensuring that the UK remains competitive and sustainable in the global race for clean energy and technology sovereignty and most importantly benefit the local economies and SMEs involved in the Defence Industry Supply chain.
Great to hear and meet friends (old and new) and industry leaders sharing their on-the-ground experience and insight. Guy Winter Dennis Rowland Fergal Coleman Patrick Barnes James Taylor Elliott Trickey Jeff Townsend
Thanks to the Critical Minerals Association (UK) for convening this stellar gathering and for supporting the APPG on Critical Minerals.
